What is proper directional?
This is one of the most common questions we receive and has a very simple answer. ARKON OFF-ROAD offers Proper Directional cast wheels, meaning the wheels installed on each side of the vehicle (driver/passenger) will mirror each other, and be tipping the same direction - the proper way.
Proper directional (commonly known as “true directional”) wheels are only available with high price forged wheels whereas ARKON OFF-ROAD offers Proper Directional styling without the daunting price tag. Companies that offer directionally designed wheels do not supply the proper wheels for vehicles to have the correct design on both sides of the vehicle. This results in your wheels facing different directions once installed.
ARKON OFF-ROAD offers proper directional cast wheels that give enthusiasts the look they want without the unnecessary price tag.

How do you run Proper Directional wheels? Swoop or Dig?
With ARKON OFF-ROAD Proper Directional wheels, your set will be tipping either forwards (digging) or backwards (swooping) once installed on your truck.
When the spokes angle forwards towards the front of the vehicle, that is “digging”.
When the spokes angle towards the rear of the vehicle, that is referred to as “swooping”.
The ARKON OFF-ROAD standard is to install our Proper Directional wheels in a “swooping” fashion. This gives a "flow" to your vehicle when driving. However, if you choose to go against the grain, ARKON OFF-ROAD designs can be ran in a "digging" format. The benefit to ARKON OFF-ROAD Proper Directional wheels is that YOU can choose whether to run them clean and swooping, or aggressive and digging.
