The Venom Power Terra Hunter XT is a hybrid tire. This means it combines the best things from mud tires and all-terrain tires into one to create a tire that performs well both on and off the road. The Terra Hunter XT is technically considered to be an off-brand tire.

If you try looking up Venom Power's website, chances are you won't find it since there was a lot less spent on advertising for this tire than some of the other name brand tires out there.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing because it keeps the price of this tire pretty low. The tread design is very squared off and you see a lot of angled side biters along the sidewall which gives a very aggressive, bulky look to it.

There are plenty of small tread blocks with a bunch of tread voids going all throughout the center of it. This ensures that there is plenty of rubber hitting the road and reducing road noise while the larger tread voids towards the outer part of the tread provide tons of evacuation channels.

This should give your great all-weather performance and help get rid of excess dirt, water, or mud that gets stuck in the tire.

We do wish there was a little bit more siping to help with snow performance but it does at least still have siping.

Some of Venom Power's competitors that share a similar tire design have their tires priced around $1500 a set. But, you can usually find yourself purchasing a set of Terra Hunter XT's for right around $900. That's a lot of savings which is why we've come to love this tire so much. If you're looking for a great-performing hybrid tire but don't want to break the bank, these are a great option.
